GET International Research Journal’s 2025 Metrics

0.4054 (40.54%)
2025 Journal Impact Factor
77.03%
2023–2024 Cumulative Citation Impact Score
Notes on the 2025 metrics
  1. The Journal Impact Factor (JIF) is calculated based exclusively on citations received during the 2025 calendar year by all manuscripts published in Volumes 1 and 2 of the GET International Research Journal (2023–2024).
  2. Utilizing a publication window that parallels the JIF, the Cumulative Citation Impact Score (CCIS) is calculated based on the total lifetime citations of all manuscripts published in Volumes 1 and 2 of the GET International Research Journal (2023–2024) as of August 1, 2026.
  3. Single-year citation counts are manually retrieved from Google Scholar, while the total number of published manuscripts is verified via the archiving system of the GET International website.
  4. Cumulative citation counts are manually retrieved from Google Scholar, while the total number of published manuscripts is verified via the archiving system of the GET International website.
  5. The JIF is computed using the standard Clarivate formula.
  6. While the JIF measures single-year momentum, the CCIS represents the overall historical citation rate per published manuscript, serving as a complementary metric of long-term influence.

Publication Process

Manuscript Submission and Formatting Guidelines

Upon receiving a manuscript, the editorial office acknowledges receipt by sending a confirmation email to the authors. It is crucial for authors to download and follow the layout of the provided sample article, which can be accessed below:

Sample Manuscript in IMRAD Format: View sample manuscript

Any article that does not strictly adhere to this format will be returned to the authors for correction before the formal review begins.

Initial Screening and Double-Blind Peer Review

Articles that meet the required formatting standards will advance to the official review stage. First, an assigned Associate Editor evaluates the manuscript and conducts a plagiarism check. The article is then forwarded to two peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The journal utilizes a double-blind review process, meaning that both the authors and the reviewers remain completely anonymous to one another.

To maintain this anonymity, authors must remove all personal identifying information, such as names and institutional affiliations, from the text prior to submission.

Review Timeline, Decisions, and Revisions

The two peer reviewers are given a period of two weeks to complete their evaluations and submit their recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief (EIC). The possible outcomes for the manuscript include: “Publish without changes”, “Accept with minor revisions”, or “Accept with major revisions”.

Once these evaluations are submitted, the EIC forwards the feedback to the authors for appropriate action. The authors are then given a two-week window to complete the necessary revisions and resubmit the updated manuscript.

Adjudication of Discrepant Reviews (Split Decisions)

In cases where the two reviewers disagree—specifically, if one reviewer recommends rejection while the other suggests acceptance with or without revisions—a third independent peer reviewer will be assigned to evaluate the manuscript. The authors will be informed of this split decision before the journal renders and conveys the final verdict.

Final Editorial Review and Publication Verdict

After the authors submit their revised manuscript, the Associate Editor, the Managing Editor, and the language reviewers are given one week to review the changes. This editorial team verifies that all requested corrections have been made and recommends to the EIC whether the article should be approved for publication or returned for further adjustments.

Once the manuscript reaches the EIC, a final executive review is conducted, and the official publication decision is released within one week.

Formatting Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Abstract: 150-250 words with 3-5 keywords
  • References: APA 7th Edition format
  • Word count: 4,000 - 8,000 words (including references)
  • File format: .docx or .pdf

Publication Fee

The GET International Research Journal operates under an open-access publishing model, ensuring that all accepted articles are immediately and permanently accessible to the global research community free of charge.

To sustain this model and cover the operational costs of rigorous peer review, editorial management, copyediting, and digital archiving, a Publication Fee of PHP 4,000.00 will be paid by the author upon the formal acceptance of their article in IMRAD format. Authors who hold an active professional membership with the GET International Institute are eligible for a 20% discount, reducing the fee to PHP 3,200.00. Please note that this membership incentive is applied per article; therefore, no additional or cumulative discounts will be granted if an article is co-authored by two or more professional members of the Institute.

Upon receiving the official notification of acceptance, the corresponding author is required to settle the publication fee to initiate the final production process. To facilitate a smooth administrative workflow, authors must provide verifiable proof of transaction by filling out the designated payment details section below.

Once the payment is verified by our finance officer, the article will be officially scheduled for publication in the upcoming issue of the journal.

Plagiarism Policy

The GET International Research Journal maintains an unwavering commitment to academic integrity and the highest standards of scholarly publishing. To ensure originality and ethical research practices, all submitted articles undergo a rigorous screening process; the journal strictly enforces a maximum permissible similarity index of 10%.

During the initial evaluation stage, two anonymous peer reviewers utilize Quetext, a leading plagiarism detection software, to verify the uniqueness of the text and ensure proper citation of existing literature. Any article that exceeds this 10% threshold during the initial check will be automatically flagged for administrative review before it can proceed any further in the editorial workflow.

In cases where an article is found to exceed the 10% similarity limit, the editorial board will immediately halt the evaluation process and notify the corresponding author. The author will be provided with a detailed copy of the Quetext similarity report and given a single opportunity to revise, rephrase, and properly credit the flagged sections within a designated timeframe.

However, if the rewritten article fails to meet the required threshold upon re-screening, or if the initial submission displays extensive, systemic plagiarism, the article will be permanently rejected, and the editorial board reserves the right to impose institutional notification or restrict the authors from future submissions to the journal.
